News: Recheck all approved building plans, says MCG chief-15-06-2021
Gurgaon: MCG Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Ahuja on Monday instructed officials to check all the approved building plans and start issuing notices to individuals for obtaining the occupation certificate. The direction came during the meeting with the officials of planning and revenue wings on Monday at MCG office in Sector 34.
Senior town planner Sanjeev Mann informed that the online process has already been in place by the government for the approval of building plans in the municipal limits.
Around 400 building plans have been approved through online process since April 2019 till date, but applications for occupation certificate (OC) have not been made yet.
“It is the responsibility of the architect to get the construction done according to the approved building plan and the occupation certificate has also been made mandatory by the government. The department will issue notice to them who haven’t applied for OC,” Mann said.
