GURUGRAM: Around 100 buyers of Mahira Homes affordable housing project in Sector 68 protested outside the office of Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HRera) on Monday demanding strict Most Read This action against the developer. They demanded that the constructio n should resume immediatel y at the project site.
In a letter to H-Rera chairman KK Khandelwal, the homebuyers said that the action plan should be shared with the homebuyers by Friday.
“Our priority is to get our homes and to ensure that strict action is taken against the developer by regulatory authority and town and country planning in connection with cancellation of licence number 106 of 2017 dated in favour of Sai Aaina firms (Mahira group),” said a group of homebuyers.
“The state government must initiate CBI enquiry in this scam and carry out proper audit of all the accounts of Mahira group. All government agencies know that the builder has committed fraud and duped innocent homebuyers of crores but no action is being taken against them,” the letter said.
Abhimanyu, a buyer said while town and country planning has been supportive, H-Rera did not even allow aggrieved homebuyers to enter the office.
An H-Rera official said the homebuyers have been asked to file a formal complaint and accordingly action will be taken against the developer. The developer did not respond to queries sent by TOI.
